To describe myself in six words, I would use:
Triathlete, Granola, Adventurer, Wanderer, Brother and Son/Sun.

So I started a blog a while back for my triathlon/running races, I wrote my first one in 2014 and kept it going for a few years. The last time I completed a blog post or "self reflection" after a race was for Ironman Wisconsin in 2018. I do not know why I stopped, but since then I have raced 2 more full Ironmans and a handful of other races. I think I seized my blog because I was not longer staying in one place, I was living in a few different locations.
In December of 2019 I moved to Tucson, Arizona and it was an amazing place to train. After leaving in June of 2019 I spent the summer in Leadville/Thornton, Colorado with really amazing friends who showed me what adventure truly was and how to train at 10,000 ft. August of 2019 and I moved to Hurricane, Utah. Here I truly became a granola and found who I really was. More adventures than I can count and more experiences than I could have ever imagined. I lived near Zion National Park and was surrounded by amazing friends and superior training. After leaving Utah in early 2020 I came back home, which is Minnesota. This place will forever be home and I could not be happier to call myself Minnesotan. I lived at the lake all summer and started writing poems and becoming more of a nature enthusiast than ever before. I realize you do not need much to be happy, just the right things.
Right now I am in Texas and not sure where I'll go next. But at 25 years old, I can not wait to see how my life changes, with hopefully more adventure than ever. I will get back to racing in 2021 !
